Medical Tourism Association Finland calls on Russia to cease military action in Ukraine immediately. The attack has caused enormous human suffering so far. The health system of the warring countries is suffering and could even collapse. As the war drags on, the citizens will also find themselves in financial distress and will not be able to seek treatment abroad either. Medical Tourism Association Finland hopes that everyone will understand that individuals are not to blame for the war. A large proportion of Russian-born people living in Russia and abroad condemn the actions of the Russian state leadership. "War causes anxiety to outsiders as well, but it is important to take care of one's own physical and mental well-being. It will then be easier to help others," says Maitta Kotaniemi, Chair of the Association's Board of Directors.
